Why This Journey Started and Why It Still Matters

We started The Doctors of Sleep Apnea with one clear purpose: to bring clarity to the millions of people living with sleep apnea. When left undiagnosed, sleep apnea can quietly contribute to serious health problems like stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. That’s exactly why we built this practice in South Florida, to help patients understand what’s happening with their sleep, get a clear diagnosis, and guided treatment from the very first step.

About The Doctors of Sleep apnea

Built to Fix What Was Being Missed in Sleep Care

Hassan Al Maghazchi founded this practice in 2017 after repeatedly seeing patients struggling with fatigue, poor sleep, and ongoing health concerns without ever being evaluated for sleep apnea. That gap made it clear how often OSA was being missed and undiagnosed. He built a connected model with at-home testing, physician-led diagnosis, treatment, and insurance support, all designed to bring care together in one place across Fort Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines.

  • Founded in 2017 to help address how often sleep apnea was going undiagnosed across South Florida.
  • At-home sleep testing with physician-reviewed results, so no hospital stay is needed.
  • In-network with Medicare and most major commercial insurance plans for easier access.
  • Two locations in Fort Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines, so patients can access care closer to home.

Our At-Home Sleep Test Process

Easy and Accurate Sleep Testing That Fits Into Your Routine

Most patients delay sleep testing because they expect wires, hospital beds, or spending the night in a clinic. We understand that and keep it simple. At The Doctors of Sleep Apnea, we use the at home sleep study (FDA approved), a finger-worn oximetry device you take home from and wear while you sleep in your own bed. No clinic stays, no stress, just one normal night that helps you finally understand your sleep.

  • We provide an FDA approved device from our office and get you set up everything.
  • Take it home and wear it overnight in your own bed, no change to how you normally sleep.
  • Return the device the next day. Our physician network reviews every result personally.
  • Get a clear diagnosis and a guided treatment plan based on your specific sleep results.
